Dr. Marta Cabedo-Fabrés received the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Telecommunication Engineering from the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV), Spain, in 2001 and 2007, respectively. In 2001, she joined the Antennas and Propagation Lab., UPV, as a Research Assistant. In 2004, she became an Associate Professor with the Communications Department, UPV. She has also been the Deputy Director of quality and accreditation at the Telecommunication Engineering Faculty, since 2015. She has supervised more than 90 Final Bachelor’s and Master’s Thesis
and 2 doctoral theses. She is currently supervising 3 doctoral theses. She has participated as a researcher in more than 20
contracts with national and international companies (acting as IP in 6) and in more than 20
research projects from competitive calls (acting as IP in 4 of them). Her current research interests include numerical methods for solving electromagnetic problems, and design and optimization techniques for wideband and multi-band antennas
