Dr Manuel Zarzo studied Agriculture Engineering and holds a PhD in Applied Statistics at Universitat Politècnica de València. He has been lecturing the subject of Statistics in the school of Computer Engineering since 2011. His research interest is the practical application of multivariate statistical analysis, with different research areas: (1) Microclimate monitoring for the preservation of cultural heritage, (2) multivariate statistical control of industrial processes, (3) statistical analysis of sensory data, with focus on olfactory perception.
Education and Training
• 2004 – 2006: postdoctoral Fulbright fellowship in USA (Cincinnati, OH) with the company Procter & Gamble, under a research project about olfactory modeling. 2000 – 2004: PhD in Applied Statistics, Universitat Politècnica de València (Valencia, Spain)
• 2000: Specialty in food technology and statistical analysis (Valencia, Spain)
